Announcing arrival of Icelandic Air

We do not have a ‘You would not believe it’ column here at flights.co.uk but even so, we thought we must mention that one of a handful of flights that did arrive during the narrow window of operations at Glasgow airport this morning (Monday) was a flight from Reykjavik in Iceland, home of the erupting volcano.

Perhaps Glasgow airport hoped that they were bringing back some of the money that was lost in the Icelandic banks. My husband stupidly had some of our money there and we have still not had it all back. | |
