I dislike the rip off charges but do like the flexibility of cheap travel. It depends what you think is a fair price. If you really think that you should be able to travel to Spain for £10 and you end up paying £70 then you will feel annoyed. But, if you reckon that it used to cost at least £150, then these prices are very good.
Perhaps the low-cost guys ought to come clean and state the price without all the start low, build it up nonsense.

I use my Virgin Atlantic card as much as I can. Being an Amex card, there are far too many places in which it is still not accepted. When I can use it, the point really do mount up.
I agree with the previous comment. It is always worth it to get some peace and quite. I use my Priority Pass card and find it very useful.
I agree that it is sad that we have to put up with all of this delay and standing in line but what are the alternatives? Until we can sort out the political mess, there are bad people out there that actually want to kill us.
The BA strike probably tells us that the number of cabin crew will be reduced as airlines fight for competitiveness. A lot of services will go and the crew will be there for safety. I expect the meals will disappear unless you are in business or first class.
