I would like to see a proper insurance scheme that did not have the exclusions. I know it would cost more but it would mean that I was covered for getting home and/or hotel bills etc. It should not cost that much more and it would give complete peace of mind.
It is not just the airlines or even just travel - it is everything that one tries to do. In the past two days, I have had rows with BT and British Gas. Luckily, I am not flying BA (it would then be BA, BT and BG.
I prefer to drive to the airport rather than use taxis. I just like to have the car there when I get back.
I have used long-stay, short-stay and mid-stay (if there is such a thing) and valet parking. I have used the same valet company three time in one month and found zero consistency. They can be great or they can be rubbish. I think it all depends on who is on duty.

I did this last year with my niece. Expensive but very well done. Actually, probably as much fun for the aduts as the kids.
To visit Santa in Lapland i a nice idea and a great experience for children and families. It is expensive but, if you can afford it, it is certainly one of those things that is worth doing once in life.
The organisers do try very hard to make it a great experience.
